HardLock with 8800GT

I've recently upgraded my 7600GT to 8800GT (Gainward). After that I have encountered system lockups: video switches to text mode (black screen with blinking cursor), computer "hangs" and can be restarted only with reset button. I.e. keyboard dead, network dead, etc.

At present time this only happen with "compiz" enabled (KDE translucensy/shadows).

Before I add "UseCompositeWrapper true" option to xorg.conf, there were misc graphic glitches on display. Without this option, hardlock can be reproduced easily: clicking on kopete popup crashes system. With this option enabled --- kopete popup doesn't crash system.

Last time, crash happened on "Desktop switch".

Currenly, I'm running system with composite disabled (I.e. no composite manager active) and have no issues.
