If the next Mech game is crap dumbed down stuff like Mech4 was, I'll pass.

Give me a sim like Mech2 was and make it for PC first.

Less MechAssault... Moar Mechwarrior!

Let's see the Jihad in action. Down with the WoBbies!

Or mix it up and bring back the space flight sim genre with AeroTech. How about a Freespace 2 type of game with Aerospace fighters, Warships, and Dropships duking it out. Let the groundpounders have their fun. I want to fire some Krakens and Naval Gauss cannons at a stravag Jade Falcon!

Wow... I'm so lost.

So I will use Shadowrun jargon to feel more at home in here.

I can't wait till I can make a Human Decker that specializes in computers, hand guns and negotiation. I'll go to a street doc to have a datajack installed and then I'll jack-in to the matrix with my crappy cyberdeck. I'll take out some weak ICE and then hopefully download some juicy info from a datastore and then sell it to a fixer for some quick nuyen.

Null sweat, chummer.

Nice way to start making some nuyen for a noob Decker and upgrade that firmware afterwards. Gotta watch that ICE feedback, oy? Next job you gotta get to a secure node in order to collect the feed my ex-company man with wired reflexes 2 can cover your back while our hired orc shamen can keep an astral eye out.

Seriously .... using some ideas from the original SWG ... this could work. BIG time. Have faction points, even PC who work for Lonestar ... Oooooo man. Expansions into Bug City .... /droooooooool

Sadly, I missed the whole pen and paper thing.

I would have probably been a huge P&P Shadowrun geek back in the day. Everything I know came from the 2 games made back in the early 90s.

I'll probably never get a chance to play the P&P game, so I really hope they can pull together a good PC RPG.

Problem is, has any game that was clever and complex been remade well? It'll be a console game with bright coloured powerups and quick timer events.
