Ahh TF2 still the most fun I have ever had in a multiplayer game because of the teamwork it requires not just shoot anything that moves. If you don't have the best reflexes for that type of play there is still a role for you. It reminds me of a hockey team with role players on it no one person is better than the whole of the team

I really like UT3, but I haven't played. Too many great games and not much time to play. I'm currently playing other single person games, but I will enter the Tournament, no doubt.

UT3 is nowhere near fun enough to dethrone TF2 for my MP time.

QFT... There are very few games that beat the zany-ness of TF2. It's just so addicting.

I think Gears of War looks better, feels fresher and plays better.

I'm actually installing unreal3 right now. Ram has been MIA for the past 3 weeks. I think the lack of interest is a) its late to the game, weve allready had a release of 6ish steller titles, and b) U3 lacks the plethora of game types, so unlike unreal2004, there ISN'T something for everyone.

I think it was gamespot who said Unreal 3 is a great game, but wtf have they been doing the past 3 years? Unreal 3 lacks alof of the features and polish of a game thats been in the works for so long. Maybe they will wisen up and get their ass working on a FREE downloadable Xpac that offers up more maps and game types.

Oh yea... c) the single player game they were touting was so special is BS, its still just a bot match, just with some rules and limitations applied.

I'm stilling hold off on UT3. The demo was less than impressive for me although I've read the retail is much better. There's just too many other new games out right now. Crysis MP has me hooked and CoD4 is starting to grab me. Feels like Epic has lost its roots.

And that's the reason why UT3 has taken a back seat. I did not think it was a good idea to launch UT3 around the same time as Crysis.

Pretty much. Know when you've been defeated and wait until people get bored of the better game.

Never enjoyed UT 2k3 or 2k4. Onslaught was fun for a while but the redesigned deathmatch gameplay never really interested me. UT99 for me was the swan song of pure deathmatch / ctf. But games must evolve. Epic tried to offer more of the same but failed since it now considers Unreal Torunament more like a showcase for its technology than a game made for gamers.
