I cant stand the game for a multitude of reasons.I uninstalled it a few days ago.Its been strictly HGL for most of the last two weeks for my wife and I.We are both BIG UT fans,but this game kills it for the both of us.

Not that Epic cares at all about the PC community.Check [H] and the offical forums to see an army of exanples,as to why they dont.I bought a copy for my wife,and it will likely get Ebayed soon at the rate this is going.

What's the deal with the config being basically "broke" where one setting changes another, etc? UT2004 you could uncompress the lighting, textures, etc. and it would make the game look outright gorgeous. Here, we have fewer settings, and the ones we do have, a good portion of them don't work.

I also realized self-shadowing is removed when simply trying to tweak the game, not to mention the other effects. :\

ok, im lost on something. Can we disable the really really annoying Guide arrows? They seem to be tied to the F2 "Map key" which dosnt actually bring up a map (well, atleast not in ctf), but pressing it only activates em, dosnt deactivate them. so annoying!

Simple solution to make ut3 looks great. Use standard ingame settings to set hightest options avaible (leave postprocess to default, the muted only makes it worse) . Force aa and ...downgrade gamma ,so this stupid bloom wont be killing your eyes

but dunno why ,I lose aa after changing map
