On top of that, once you've played the first 2 levels you've done everything you could do in the game. I found very little reason to finish the game the first time, let alone play it again.

Still, it wasn't bad. I may or may not play it again some day (hence the 5\10 score I gave it for replayability). I won't be getting rid of it though, even if the Limited Edition box and the Big Daddy figure take up a crap load of space.

Personally I prefer my own rating system... pretty easy...

It either

SUCKS

or

DOESN'T SUCK

Almost right but not quite. When you do final scores your averaging the other categories together, not giving it your own score. So take COD4 for example. For gameplay you gave it a 7, 6, 7 add those up and then average them out.

7 + 6 + 7 = 20

20 \ 3 = 6.7

So your final gameplay score should be a 6.7 not an 8.

The system is very good to punctuate individually every aspect of the game, , but the total punctuation cannot be the average of the partial ones. I do not value equally the sound that the graphs, the graphs are for my much more important . And in general, an average of the partial punctuations cannot be an exact average.

It could be the opposite for someone else. There really isn't any way to tailor the system specifically to each reviewer's tastes.

The same system distorts the average score, so that already this deciding the percentage that corresponds to each part of the game. This can be very variable in each game . I believe that the final score never can be done with an average.

But well, for my , graphics value not is equal than the sound value . Maybe is 90/10 .

Perhaps on the other hand, the section polish, would have to go in the gameplay .

Just a thought. I think this is a really good idea and would be very popular. But it would make it very easy to navigate if it had it's own Sub-forum section. That way you could have a thread for each game/mod and you wouldn't have a big mess of different games in one thread. What say you??
