Pyro is by far my favorite class.

Its just so much freaking FUN.

He can do a lot of damage at short range and he's pretty mobile. The lasting effect of the fire is a great bonus too. You can run in and scorch 10 enemies and they will all either have to run into battle with a significant loss of health or try to find health. This creates quite a good strategic advantage in a lot of battles.

The only enemies that really stomp on a pyro most of the time are the Soldier and the Heavy. Surprisingly though, the heavies aren't that hard. Just run around them in circles and hit them with the flame thrower point blank.

One thing I love is watching a battle from a safe distance and running around the outside and flanking the enemies, usually to take out the class that is causing more problems. Medics and spies are my main targets though. Spies always get pwned by my flame thrower. Medics either get pwned or they panic and turn on the uber charge long before they were supposed to.

Also, there's nothing more fun than running in on a bunch of snipers that are pissing everyone off, and toasting them while they are still zoomed in trying to pick off your team mates.

You summed up pretty much everything I had to say about the pyro, CaptNKILL.

Demo has been my favorite class by far. Grenades to the face say a lot. I normally play either that or the Medic.

And nothing beats a pyro-heavy tag team! I was playing Gravel Pit the other night on Red team, and two pyros, a demoman and me (heavy) with a medic managed to catch the entire Blue team in the hallway between A and C. The demo, medic and I came in from the L part of the hallway and attracted all of Blue's attention, and then two of our Pyros came in from the other direction. We rolled up all of them in about two seconds! The rest of our team was laughing their asses off on the VoIP.
