If you set your 360 to 720p output and put in halo3, does it run? is your screen giving you a 720p image? Seems to me like it runs in 720p so I fail to see where this "false advertising" is. How the developers choose to get that image to you is entirely up to them, as long as the end result looks good the "average joe" isn't going to care about if it's upscaled 640p or any of that crap. All they'll care about is the box said 720p, they set it to 720p and it works and looks good.

Omg I am so pissed

I paid 10 bucks for the new maps today, and guess what- they're all missing the pixels too. So pissed. Can't believe they are still doing this to us and think we'll stand for it

I actually laughed at this because its so true, then I died a little inside because I'm one of those alleged "pC g4m3rs". oh woe is me

all kidding aside, I do own and play a Wii and 360 pretty regularly so I guess I'm no longer among the elite. oh well.

I agree with chris. PC gaming has been slowly destroying itself for quiet some time. From now on I'm only keeping a mid range PC capable enough to play games like the Witcher. Other than that I'm going console. I actually hope The Witcher makes it onto console. With a few control changes it would actually work pretty well.

The average Joe won't be able to tell the difference between 640p and 720p, and as I mentioned the only games out there that actually *LOOK* as if they're lower than HD are PGR3 and COD3. Halo 3 doesn't fit into the category of games that have too much aliasing.

In the case of resolutions, more pixels would not be those resolutions. In the case of food, the bags do not read "meets or exceeds this weight", so by your logic we should sue them too.
