Yeah, it's scary when you set the bios vcore to 1.525v, Windows reports 1.46v idle and under load it goes 1.32-1.34v.
![]() Still, enough to get my Q6600 up to 3.5GHz stable in most games and 3.25GHz stable with Prime. |

I hit a snag... at 1.30 in bios I can hit 3GHz on my Q6600 1.4V takes me to 3.4 stable prime OCCT the works (coretemp is 58C full load) but after that I'm a bit afraid to raise the Vcore I mean I had to raise it .1V just to get 400MHz
I might try 1.5V just to see what I can do at some point...

First Gigabyte P35-DS3R was faulty. However, the RMA is going well so far.
Just installed a Gigabyte P35-DS3L, and newegg gave me the Rev2.0 which has more USB ports, basically the same as the R model, is running great. Love it, will try overclocking tomorrow. Installed my Zalman and CPU temps are ~25C idle, and the northbridge in the 30's. Super cheap too, less than 100 at the egg. (the p35 i mean)
