Default Front Lines: Fuel Of War

Seeing as this game has now gone open beta on Fileplanet & having enjoyed the closed beta myself, thought this game deserves a thread.

The guys behind it are from the 1st Desert Combat BF1942 mod, had loads of fun playin that game in another life, be good to see some feedback on this forum.

Personally i see a lot of potential within this game, superb outdoor (huge) enviroments with some nice detail, good performance too.

Yeah, I played it a bit last night. This build is a lot more stable than 020. I hope they add joystick support soon so I can test the choppers and jets.

My first impressions are negative: No AA, bland gameplay, and a weak UI.

It's not bland. You haven't experienced with the different roles yet, like drone tech, etc. AA can be forced using enhancer or in the CP. Some UI functions are missing as they tell you during installation.

I tried the 360 demo and loved the gameplay... will probably go PC though because the framerate was ass. It reminds me of Medal of Honor Airborne with the open enviornments and multiple objectives, only... this game is good.

Medal of Honor: Airborne IS awesome.

I've played through it a few times and the multiplayer is fun too, not to mention the 1.3gb patch just released.

I thought Airborne was ok, kind of fun... but nothing great. This game seems to have more unique settings, weapons, and objectives.
