Well, you could probably guess the sheer excitement as I first power on my brand new PC with all of its quad core q6700 and 8800GT goodness, staring at my giant 28" HannsG monitor as it goes into the bios settings and i set my preferences and as i glare back and forth at the blue light comming out of my antec 900 case from the OCZ GameXStream 600W...i put in the windows XP SP2 CD (no vista yet...but i own it
) and i wait as the blueness of the windows setup comes on the screen, as it reads my 320gig SATA drive...i select the unpartitioned space ready to format it using NTFS and as I wait for the format to continue, it hits about 20% and all you hear comming from the midst of the loud PC fans, the hard drive...*CLICK*CLICK*CLICK..* "Unable to Format drive, may be damaged!"Yes, my hard drive is DOA...I purchased it from tigerdirect (needed a quick, cheap way instead of ordering online as I had my other parts already). They are closed right now..someone hug me, im sad. ![]() Sorry for the bad spelling..I just had to post really fast..im so mad and sad right now!

Damn, that really sucks man.
Still, I'd rather have a drive DOA than die after I've filled it with crap.

Your PC >>>
<<< YouThat's poo dude. Major bummer. At least it's the weekend and you'll have time to sort it. I've had that before but it was early in the week and I had to wait 'til the weekend to sort it. I was grumpy all week. |

I'm sorry dude. That has to suck.
My first install of windows was bad on my computer, So I went through about 45 minutes of hell x 2 before I got to start testing it all the new games when I built it. It was horrible. Hope you get that fixed. ![]()
