I'd love to give Uncharted a try, but I'm not shelling out for a console any time soon.

Crysis btw, perfectly smooth for me, not one crash, no hangs no problems, modified medium config.

I do have to kind of snicker at people who get their knickers in a knot over a game though. Don't like it? Don't play it, easy.

I haven't been following this thread close enough to know if this has been posted already. But I can't think of a more appropriate thread for it...

I'm sorry for the kid in the picture, but the message is still valid. And for once I wasn't trying to be funny.

On the last levels crysis is anything but smooth, but yeah if you call 10fps smooth whatever.

LOL true that, my rig ran Crysis really really well up until some of the last levels and then the performance went all to hell, especially that stupid ass zero gravity level, I mean why? We have the lush open jungles that ran really well and then a crappy looking indoors level that runs like ass. Isnt that the opposite of the way things usually are?

I wish!

I'm at 1680x1050, r_streamingtextures=0 helped alot, plus a shadows tweak. So I can maintain 20-28 or fps on my 7900GGTX. Looks decent, but nothing great, that comes next week - getting an 8800GTS SSC back in my rig.

Yeah, that's exactly what I was saying. I don't want to bash Crysis as it is a great game as well but I am enjoying Unchartered much more than Crysis and I think people should definitely check out the game if they have a PS3!
