Hmmm.. need a good MP game...

Ok, so I have not played a multiplayer game for quite a long time (FPS wise that is). To be honest, most of the time the people playing just annoy the **** out of me anymore anyway so id rather just play some single player and have some fun. I play WiC online here and there and thats good fun, but I need a good FPS for online play too as after awhile some of my SP FPS action gets kind of old. TF2 is out of the question, I already own that and I find the game pretty boring, was not the TF2 I had hoped for. It has pretty much come down to COD4 I think as UT3 looks like it sucks ass, but is COD4 really worth $49? How are the graphics and is the game play fun or dated? If you know of another game I may not know about feel free to post the idea up as well I am finishing my christmas shopping this weekend and am going to pick up some **** for myself too... lol.

Did you try Quake Wars? Personally, I didn't like the demo enough to buy it but I've heard many people say great things about it. maybe you'll like it?

if ur considering ut3, id highly recommend u d/l it b4 u shell out the cash for it. id recommend cod 4, but just be aware the single player is pretty boring. quake wars is also fun but it can be difficult to find games not populated by bots. cod 4 u can find plenty of low ping servers 24 hours a day.

just buy wow and play your life away in a small 4" by 4" black room.

FWIW, I find TF2 dull if they just have the same map running over and over. I get so sick of 2 Fort stand-offs. They are supposed to be adding in more maps pretty soon as well.

My favorite games have always been co-op. I wish developers would focus on that more.

Some of the third party tf2 maps are extremely fun.

I wish they would bring back the old version of Well though. I loved that map.

Actually, all of the original TFC maps should be remade for TF2.

COD4 is on sale a gogamer right now.


I like Quake Wars, but it's not too popular around here.

GoW coop on Insane is an absolute blast.

I suffer the stutter bug in gow, fortunately it doesnt effect MP, GOW MP is the first mp game i've enjoyed since 2004's Half-Life 2 DM, I highly suggest it, but also highly warn you the odds are good you'll get some bug. Its littered w. them regardless of os or hardware, its **** code.
