Red face Nvidia Driver Install Kernel Error

When I try to install the Nvidia driver 96.43.01 I get the error that the Kernel cannot be created, my gcc version may be different from what was used during install. I'm very confused. The install log file is attached.

Thanks for any help!

Default Re: Nvidia Driver Install Kernel Error

Judging from the log file, the kernel development files you attempted to build the driver against do not match the running kernel.
