The cars look amazing... nearly photo realistic... but the scenery looks terrible.

I'm not dogging out GT5 for what it is. I think it will be a great game.

What I take issue with is:
#1, the hype behind it with the photochopped shots I linked in the OP
#2, PD and Sony releasing it 2-3 however many times to milk the fans $

Bitch, bitch, bitch, Sony killed my dog, bitch, bitch, bitch.<insert I33T talk> <Insert joke about cell> <insert I33T talk>. Bitch, bitch, bitch. Repeat.

Game looks awesome and even though not a full game puts jaggy crap like Forza 2 to shame. GT is what really got me to love racing sims and none have let me down yet. I rather a time filler than nothing being that the next one is for away. And the fact we may see updates is awesome.

GT5 still looks a little jaggy, except where they cover it up with blur. It's not a bad looking game at all though, none of them are.

I'm guessing you always play racing games parked in the grass.

Here are some pics of how the game looks on peoples TVs.

The lighting is crazy in this game. Everything reflects it's surrounding, from store signs to the steering wheel emblem. Nice attention to detail.

That TV looks like ass. Screen-door effect FTL.

It is not easy to take photos of the tv because the colorimetry , contrast and edge definition is altered . This are a bit blurry and have screen-door effect . Better with one HD video capture card , like Dot50cal

For those bashing and/or nitpicking the graphics, have you seen the game running live on a 1080p tv? It looks nearly perfect, not like half the screen shots posted in this thread.

Agreed. Most of these guys are PC fans though... they won't be satisfied unless it's at a stupid resolution running at 10FPS.

Is a shame that the screens could not catch the whole greatness of this game.
