Just some observations, it looks like they need to hire an additional modeler. Aside from my personal dislike to the shape of his head and his hairline (Square head, short hair, looks like its spray painted on), his shoulders are clearly exposing the polygon outlines of his model. The pig's armor, while clearly is supposed to be just cobbed together metel, looks chunky and in the screen shot above, it looks like theres some polygon anomaly on him. The 2 "aliens" also look like they were done with a single color.

If the game is going to take a serious sam approch, it could be forgivable. But if were supposed to get upclose and anti-personal with them, well atleast the game can allways fall back on its funny one liners.

LOL it looks very good imo. I would be happy if it wont be another crysis techdemo which works 20fps on every pc.

The amount of interest there is for DNF shows that 3DRealms had a great franchise. They could have easily released 2 or 3 Duke Nukem sequels in the past 12 years and countless console ports that would have earned them millions and millions of dollars. But they totally blew it through the most incompetent project management in the history of software development.

They should write a book. "How NOT to manage a project" by 3DRealms.
I am feeling just the same.
dn3d was my first game on my first pc back in 1997. And I just love DUKE

Almost 10 years of development, at least 3 engine switches, huge mess in the team (people quiting every year or so..) and this is actually the result they feel are ready to show us be it a teaser or not ? But when they have told they switched engine numerous times to make it look kickass and when you look at the screens you can only shake your head and cant help to wonder something must be seriously f--ked up in the heads of people at 3Drelms, this we can se now.

Low textures anyone ?

Looks like a doom3 clone

Seriously, 3Drealms go to hell and never come back

I don't think DNF ever claimed to be a graphical powerhouse, I mean it using UE2.5! It looks slighly better than Prey IMO, which is still really good.

Also notice the object based motion blurring

Looks closest to say Doom 3 or Prey to me, got that style of look with the characters and some of the environments, which is a bit disappointing.
