Default HP Blackbird 002 Hard Drives lock computer up with crash blue screen following reboot

This all happened when I went to go install Windows Vista Ultimate Edition x64 on the hp blackbird 002. I have in total 5 hard drives 3 Raptor-X 150GB hard drives and two Western Digitial 320GB Hard drives. Even when I only have the main os on only 1 raptor which I don't have anything setup for RAID. I'm still getting what appears to be the hard drive trying to go in sleep mode. What happens next is odd the computer will lock up and I'll get a fatel error with a blue screen and then the computer will reboot. I tryed swapping the hard drive in another location and even ran a test on the hard drive which resulted in 0 problems found. I think it's Vista x64 that's creating the problem. I reinstalled Windows XP x64 and I've not had any problems at all. Using Vista x64 created alot of problems for me on this new computer case. Any advise that could correct this problem because I really want to use Windows Vista x64 instead of Win XP x64... I do have Vista 32-Bit Ultimate that came with the unit but I prefer Vista x64 instead. How do I fix this odd problem?

Well I tryed Windows Vista 32-Bit and it worked perfectly! No problems to report. Windows XP Pro x64 ram like a charm also. I looks like Vista and the hp blackbird 02 don't mix.

You need to remove 2GB of RAM when installing Vista x64. After installation apply the 4GB hotfix and then install the rest of the RAM.
