Default A simple question ??

Do i need to uninstall
the driver that i had previously installed( NVIDIA-Linux-x86-100.14.19-pkg1.run) and if so can any1 tell me the detailed procedure as to which files to uninstall n how n then how to install the new driver(NVIDIA-Linux-x86-169.07.pkg1.run)??

MY comp specifications:
Laptop model : Compaq Presario V3000
Processor : Mobile AMD Sempron (tm)
OS : Dual boot with Opensuse 10.3 as master and Win xp as slave
Graphics card : Nvidia Geforce Go 6150
Architecture : i386

Check if your distribution has Nvidia packets and use them.
You do not have to uninstall old driver to install new one.
If you want to uninstall just run:
./NVIDIA-Linux-x86-169.07.pkg1.run --uninstall
