Default Still crashing on X64 SMP with NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-169.07

Seing that stability problems had been resolved in the latest version of the drivers I installed it on my Asus A6000 laptop ( amd 64 dual CPU ) running Fedora Core8.
I started glxgears and got the corrupted display right away ....
No improvement for me !
I've been waiting for 4 months now since my first bug report and my problem is still not solved. I'm back to square 1, running the non accelerated version of the driver ..... with a nice Geforce GO 7600 card
I'm attaching the nvidia-bug-report .... If someone can do something with it.
