Default Good FPS?

Are there any FPS games that encourage teamwork for multiplayer rather than total rampage and chaotic shooting?

Like in castle wolfienstein where there were maps where one team attacks and the other defends?

ET:Quake Wars is offense v. defense depending on map... teamwork only exists on servers with veteran players tho. It's a good game, but far from perfect.

Are those servers free for anyone to play on or clan restricted?

I just really missed games like Woleinstein where there was teamplay instead of mindless deathmatches.

Free and some are clan restricted, but many aren't.

What kind of scale? Had a great time playing GRAW for small team vs ai. And yeah Armed Assault if you can live with the performance horriblis.

TF2

You need a good team to win.

Going solo works some times (mostly for spies and snipers), but in the end you'll do far better and have more fun if you work as a team.

There are different game modes for each map too. Some are CTF, some are capture point based (two teams fighting for each other's points) and some are attack\defend capture.

12 v 12 or fewer. You can capture objectives/territory, build gun placements, send airstrikes, etc. Several different soldier classes.
