How can people say the game will run like crap on monster rigs when the game quite clearly benefits greatly from SLI. When you see 2x the performance from a second card, I think that's a sign that it's a great engine and will run well with future high end cards. Turn down the settings and stop whining if you can't run it at a framerate you feel is fit.

ummm crysis runs slower than cod4 because its rendering much more complex graphics. shadowmap resolution, texture resolution, poly counts, lighting model, shader effects, soft shadows etc etc.

I must say i much prefere COD4 over crysis! ..... played single and multiplayer of both & as i said i found the COD4 single and multiplayer to be a overall more intense & better game(just alittle short in the single player)! .... Ill try crysis again when the patch comes out..... of all the hype crysis got i must say in my opinion it just dosent live up to it!

No offense meant with this, just a word of advice: In Crysis you basically have to be creative and resourceful to create your own game experience, where CoD4 is a shooter on rails. Kinda like democracy vs. tyranny
Remember that on your "giving Crysis one more chance" playthrough

I'm sorry but if you are comparing that to crysis you gota be kidding me? It looks like 5 years old next to crysis No wonder COD4 runs good and Crysis runs like "crap". Duh no brainer. From a technical standpoint crysis ftw. COD4 was ok if you like that sort of game. "Rollercoaster"

Well , COD 4 is a typical casual game . Is ideal for the first experience with the FPS . Leaving the brain to one side and shoot a few shots without complications


MOHAA : nice game . Many scripts and lineal , but no problem in the year 2002

COD : a bit disappointing. Is the same lineal and hiper scripted game of MOHAA

Call of Duty: United Offensive : Not I played this game , I played the demo . Is the same game of COD

COD2: I got bored before the end . I did not finish this game , though it was not an bad game.

COD 3 : I not played this game

and COD4 : I cannot end COD 4 with a trainer and infinite life. The same game of the all serie , and the same style of the 95 % of FPS since 1995

COD 5 and 6.? For my nephews ,of 3 and 1 years

Avanced pixel shaders in the weapons



Incredible draw distance and detaill



This is nice . physic in all objets of the world





High polycount scene - maybe 2 millons or 3 or polygons



This is a good example of optimization and good coding

Pffft... Please don't tell me that you are even trying to compare the amount of detail of COD4 to Crysis. Cod4 looks nice but Crysis at very high settings is insanely beautiful and detailed. Not to mention that all the lighting and shadows are all dynamic, bigger levels, day time changes, physics, interactive enviroments, etc.

The coding in Crysis is actually very good if we base it on how much is going on at any given moment compared to COD4.
