I want to rephrase what I said in the early post.

I know I said otherwise, but the game IS still fun. Its just the changes they have been making have seemed to be wrong ones. On certain maps you can go Pyro and Demoman, it just becomes too easy.

I still love TF2. And my Heavy eats Pyro's and Demomen for breakfast.

Pyro and Demoman depend solely on the people playing them. I've seen oh so many n00bs get crushed while playing Pyro and Demoman (and for the record, I'm a good Demoman but a sucky Pyro). These two classes only work if the player knows how to read the map; the Pyro needs to know how to use cover, and the Demoman needs to know how to set up traps and bounce grenades.

I've also seen a lot of idiots run straight at me when I'm playing Demoman. If you're going to run right at my nades, you deserve to have your guts splattered on the walls! Zig, zag and circle strafe, and you can kill Demomen all day long.

Yea. It didn't help that their team(and our team) was full of bumbling idiots. Was too easy.

Very true.

That's one thing I love about the pyro is using all of the maneuvering practice I've had in first person shooters over the years to shorten the distance to enemies as quickly as possible or to ambush them in ways they'd never expect.

One time I did something I didn't actually think I could pull off but it worked beautifully. There was an enemy demoman on the bridge in 2fort and he had a line of stickies set up across our end of the bridge. He was also damned good with the grenade launcher so he was holding off the whole team at that point. As a pyro I had no chance of hitting him from a distance, and there was no way I'd make it through the stickies or his hail of nades. So I ran out of the right side doorway, ran at an angle toward the bridge, crouch-jumped and went over the water and over the railing of the bridge and torched his ass. He didn't know what hit him... he didn't get off a single shot or detonate his stickies. Funny as hell.

LOL I really haven't played TF2 since the beta. ::

I just don't have much time anymore. Sucks owning a PC, 2 consoles and a Beagle plus work. Not enough time!

I just want some new (or remade) maps. Give me classic CTF Well and some Canal Zone. I'd even take Badlands.

I agree.

2Fort is pretty much the only map I really really enjoy in TF2. The others are fine, but 2fort is just a hell of a lot more fun.

There were some awesome maps in TFC.

In TFC I only really played Well, 2Fort, and Dustbowl. The new Well just sucks by comparison.
