Isn't that from Halo 2?

Halo 1 soundtrack is far better than Halo 2. Halo 2 Vol2 is pretty cool though.

It is. Great fun to play on GH3 too. I also downloaded Three Kings to play on Christmas.

The Streets of Rage 2 attract music, and the end music when you beat the game.

I like Ken's theme from SF2.

The PC version of SSF2T had a great version of it with some awesome solos. Wonder if it'll appears on GH3? ::

Soul Blazer - SNES. Played the crap out of this game when I was a kid and the music always stuck in my head. All the music in this game was awesome, one area that sticks in my mind was the Ocean area... I can still remember it well to this day.

Stones from Ultima VII is a classic.

For more recent work I enjoyed the soundtracks to Morrowind and Oblivion.

Any of the NES Castlevania music, any music from the first three Mega Man games, Mega Man X, all of the music from Final Fantasy IV and VI and a good bit from VII, Ys: Oath in Felghana, E.V.O., Dragon Quest 1 & 2, Crystalis, Super Mario Bros. 3, Zelda: LTTP, Lufia I & II, TIE Fighter Collector's CD (the iMuse tracks not the ones from the crappy Win95 version), and honestly I'm spent, I could go on and on. Generally I find that I'm fonder of music from older games. That's not to say I don't like newer games though, the music from Super Mario Galaxy and Mass Effect is awesome too.

I have to say though that the Castlevania series stands out for me. Bloody Tears and Vampire Killer are probably the best themes ever composed for a video game.

I'm surprised you left out ActRaiser. The music in the first one is incredible.

Holy crap, it's been a good long while since I heard that game mentioned. Yes that game had some awesome music.

Yeah that's what I meant by "I could keep on going", I just couldn't think of everything at the time. But yes ActRaiser has some awesome music.

Anyone heard the music from Eternal Sonata? It's _beautiful_.
