Default Well, my 360 finally gave up the ghost.

I was playing GH3 on it a week back or so, and suddenly the screen goes red, then green, then stays that way. Sound is still coming from the game, but the video is shot. I try restarting, and the TV couldn't even pick up the signal anymore.

Well, I'm amazed it lasted a whole 18 months, and it had been manufactured 2 years ago. Thankfully I had it warrantied at best buy, and I just had it swapped out for a new one.

So who has an 05/early 06 model that still works?

Mine was 02/06 and worked till Nov 07

I heard Microsoft is sending out certificates to all owners of 360s whose machine completed a year of service. Its personally autographed by Bill Gates!!!!

PS2 would have more failures at the moment, only through the sheer amount sold. Not through defective design.
