LOL...I just love it when I can upset people like you for no reason at all.

I don't know why you all are so shocked. Have you seen the threads he argues with me in? Do yourself a favor and search for "creatine" on this forum. The guy is off his rocker and seriously needs mental help.

And superklye. Thats not me insulting you. You really do need help. If I had mental difficulties I would like someone to inform me. Consider it a favor.

Back on topic. I have a quick question. Is this Warner deal set in stone? With all the cheap prices of HD-DVD players and movies, its really hard to keep from purchasing one.....

personally I think that the lower prices are just to offload current inventory on consumers to cut their losses.

With as big of an impact as the Warner deal has had on the market segment I doubt that it would be so simple for them to turn around and say... "nevermind" and go back to supporting HD DVD.

For the 1/2 billion that was reportedly paid it better be set in stone.

Just wait until people realise their standalones aren't geared up for BD 2.0 , wait for the backlash.

The whole "but people know what they are getting into" just don't cut it. Not everyone bothers to do their research.

Got a long, drawn out, everlasting road with this whole HD format drama yet.

I totally agree. The general public watches a blu-ray commercial then goes out and buys one, end of story until ......

and in other news: http://www.engadgethd.com/2008/01/15...ie-hd-rentals/

another big budget company joins the digital distribution lines, HDM may never catch on, this whole war could be for naught, only time will tell. granted the audio may not be comparable to HDM, but the first step is distribution and then quality. Interesting year ahead regardless.

Digital Distribution is the future.. no doubt. I look over at my humongous collect of DVD movies and sigh. What a massive waste of money on something I never use. Once I watch a movie a few times I never go back to it (some rare exceptions do exist).
