I've never played Devil May Cry

Same even though I started out with an atari 2600 I have been a jaded pc gamer since owning my C64...so many great games I missed out on due to stubborness and only now am I catching up with a PS3 and its BC with some PS2/PS1 gems.

This one is on my list of "still to try".

Make sure to grab Shadow Of The Colossus for PS2. It is INCREDIBLE.

I recommend you try part 1 and 3. If you really like those then you can pick up part 2. Street Fighter 4 is coming to PS3 as well.

PLEASE don't pick up Devil May Cry 2 first. Play 1 or 3 first. The second one was atrocious, it killed the series for me.

Hehe cool will do. I just picked up the Trilogy brand new from EB for $24 so ill make sure to play 2 last hehe.

Butters is correct. DMC 2 is horrible. As soon as I turned it on, all the babies in my neighborhood cried. It's that bad.

I wouldn't play Oblivion on either an Xbox or a PS3...I play it on my PC with rebalance mods/graphical mods and added quest mods. When I play Graw2 I play it on my PC same with Bioshock etc etc.

That's whats motivating to go with the PS3 this time due to more exclusives that won't make it to PC such as God of War, GT:5, MTGS 4 and others. I'm not a big fan of FF though.

And put it together with a built blu-ray it's really a better deal if you already have a powerful gaming PC.

I appreciate your attempt to help, but that has not worked for me. Not only have I deleted all my downloaded content and tried downloading it again multiple times, but I've even attempted deleting and recovering my gamertag multiple times along with the repeated procedures with the games. None of this has worked to solve any of my issues. I've tried all the legitimate ideas I've read in this forum, Rage3d, and the official xbox forums to try to get my content working as intended again, no luck.

I wasn't aware about the bluetooth mic setup for the PS3. That does sound like it would have its advantages, I may have to research this more.

I bought my 360 for the exclusives aswell,game like the PGR series,Forza 2.I'm playing mass effect now and its great,awesome game.I like Halo 3 aswell,eventhough its less strong than the prequels its still good with a conclusion of the series.

Some of these will get to the pc eventually,halo 3 and mass effect but it will take time.PGR3 & 4 and Forza 2 however will NEVER make it to pc ,i love them .The 360 will never have as many exclusives as the ps3 but for me the few games i mentioned made the purchase worth it.Ive had hours and hours of fun with all of them off and online and do not regret my purchase of the 360.

I do 90% of my gaming on the pc but some areas the pc lacks and this is one of them for me.Same thing is true of the ps3 aswell but why choose ? If you have the ability to buy both why not do that ? I dont give a **** about the technical differences or who renders what best.All i care about is games that i long to play and play them i will regardless of format.

Sofar there's not really any games out on the PS3 that pull enough for me to buy one.I havent played a FF game since FF7 on the ps1 but when the full version of GT5 hits ill buy one for sure

Thats comical i own a ps3 and a xbox 360. Games like uncharted, heavenly sword make the system well worth it. Ratchet and clank and so forth. Hell even lair is fun and graphically stunning so long as u get used to the control scheme.


I'm no console fanboy either i love pc gaming. but to say its not a gaming machine when im using a cannon in heavenly sword at jhigh res with over 100 enemies on screen at once is silly. Just as silly as the comparison videos between the two consoles, and they have rgb off.

The ps3 is a great console and the fact that cacheing makes games have zero load time, (uncharted etc) is awesome. Now its online area surely needs alot of work next to the 360 thats for sure.

but all the conoles online sections suck as compared to the pc anyways.

No im not nuts

Just not that impressed...of course my comments where somewhat exagerated...there are differences. But they are nowhere near "stunning". The WII graphically still looks every bit "last gen".

And to answer your questions, yes I own one. Bought one for my daughter and have played both Sunshine and Galaxy as well as many others and its just not that dramatic of a difference...the controller scheme is but the graphics aren't.
