Default FYI: 96.43.01 (legacy) + latest Xorg on Debian Sid

Hi,

Just to report that 96.43.01 (legacy) for Linux x86/x86-64 resolved 2 problems:

1. ABI errors with the latest Xorg release
2. mouse interference when using 2 videocards/monitors/keybds/mice

Because I run Debian Sid's 2.6.23-1-686 I had to *make one change*:

line 529 of usr/src/nv/nv-linux.h should be:

kmem_cache = kmem_cache_create(name, sizeof(type), \
0, 0, NULL); \

instead of an additional NULL parameter.

Hugo

That is completely false BTW. The legacy version checks whether the OS needs 5 or 6 arguments.

Installing as is resolved all my problems.

Thanks Nvidia for being on the draw.
