It's very useful dude. With the upscaler you can watch HDCP content using a 8800 G80 video card, play PS3 and Xbox 360 games, etc. Even if you only connect it to PC, you might still need it when playing games that don't support 2560x1600 or you want better framerates, since nvidia scaling sucks and sometimes doesn't work.

I want the 2408 I ordered! After I ordered, they pulled the order page the next day, cancelled the order and they say that they are not available any more! I don't know what's up with that.

Only 24" listed here at Dell HK's site is the E248WFP, next up is the 27". Don't know what happened to the 240x line.

Was definately thinking about ordering one of these monitors. Thank god my mom works at Siemens and gets a good discount. At least she's somewhat useful
