It will put music in categories as organized by the machine that your serving them off of, including album art.

Videos and pictures will be organized into the folder structure that you share them from.

That's not true at all. I have a Motorola HD recorder box from my cable company and it has dual HD tuners.

What that means is that I can be watching an HD channel live and be recording a separate HD channel at the same time and I can also watch a recorded HD channel off the hard-drive and be recording 2 live HD channels at the same time. Has a 160 gig hard-drive in it too, and supports series recording and all that jazz.

ok for example I might have something like that

root drive
---->Vacation 2006
---------->Trip 1
-------------->video 1.avi
-------------->video 2.avi
---------->Trip 2
-------------->video 1.avi
----->Vacation 2007
----------->Trip 1
-------------->video 1.avi
-------------->video 2.avi

will it pick up the full directory structure, Vacation 2006\Trip 1\video 1.avi or will it only pick up Trip 1\video 1.avi?

I have a Motorola DVR HD box as well, and while what you say is true, you are ignoring the background that he wants to record HD on his computer rather than on the cable box. Excluding picture in picture, my Motorola DVR HD box will only output one decoded channel at a time.

Sorry, didn't read it fully. It will pick up the full path. This of course is assuming your sharing the media from the root folder level.
