hello i`m running fedora 8
i downloaded NVIDIA-Linux-x86-169.07-pkg1 from http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_d...32_169.07.html and i get an error : WARNING: You do not appear to have an NVIDIA GPU supported by the 169.07 NVIDIA Linux graphics driver installed in this system what can do to solve this problem ? |

Please attach the installer log file and the output of lspci -v
|

this is an .run file wher i can find installed log and also

The NVIDIA software installer's log file is /var/log/nvidia-installer.log; you can capture the output of `lspci -v` using e.g. the command below and attach the resulting lspci.log file:
# lspci -v > lspci.log |

If you are trying to install the NVIDIA Linux graphics driver inside a virtual machine, then the behavior you're seeing is expected- VMware can and does not emulate an NVIDIA graphics device.
