It is now confirmed!

Paramount will make an announcement any day now and Universal will make an announcement in February 2008 when their HD-DVD contract will expire on end of January 2008.

http://www.engadgethd.com/2008/01/09...oth-going-blu/

So in March look like HD-DVD will have 0% Hollywood supporters.

Nice. It's a rumor still but in business wise, it makes more sense that both will switch to Blu-ray.

So is this true? If so, then I'm happy. I'm currently watching a BR movie and it's pretty good quality. Menus, chapter skipping, audio quality and picture quality are pretty darn good if you ask me; same as HD-DVD IMO. I'm just glad that this format war is coming to a close.

You read this ****, and I swear to God, I'll bet you sit there and beat off to it like it's some kind of porno.

If I was your father, I'd wouldn't buy a BD player out of fear I might wake up one night to find your dick stuck in the disc slot.

28 Weeks Later and The Simpsons Movie. They both looked really good, even in 1080i.

I haven't seen much in HD formats, but I caught a glimpse of National Treasure on Bluray at BB yesterday and it looked like total ass (for HD) IMO. I've gotten better quality over the air than that.

Get use to it, it's what consumers have apparently chosen. Idiots.

That may be the case. I figured it was because they were using on the Bluray demo.

There probably won't be any difference anyhow, lol.
