I doesn't make sense not to, they put a cluase in their contract with the hd dvd camp, saying that if werner went exclusive blueray, they could opt out.

Just saying it hasn't been confirmed yet... trust me, I hope it is so the coffin can be close on HD-DVD, but it isn't set in stone yet.

I had just fallen on hd dvd's side, but im actually glad that warner went exclusively with bd, I just want this format war to be over so my dad can get a 50" 1080p plasma, a high def dvd player, and some bomb ass speakers.

Here some confirmations that Paramount and Universal will expect to make an announcement soon as the arrangements complete.

Yes I know it rumour outside the scene but it is real behind the scene, like Warner denied rumour Blu-ray exclusive few months ago so it was true came from insider sources.

Yeah, "no comment" doesn't sound too good for HD-DVD. I posted in other thread that HBO has confirmed they're dropping HD-DVD and go Blu-ray only.
