Default New Wii onwer here

Wifey bought a Wii for Xmas.... now i now it is not next gen and all that... but it simply rocks for playability.... Wii sports is great, especially with an internet connection...
Just goes to prove that GFX is not the only thing we should be interested in....
Time to woop the wifey at bowling again.

Pick up that second Medal of Honor title if you are into shooters. I was blown away at how good it is and played.

Gah, I almost forgot about that. I've gotta finish Zack and Wiki and Galaxy so I can go pick that up.

How's Zack and Wiki? I've thought about maybe picking that one up in the future.

I like it a lot, although it's been put on hold by Galaxy for the moment. It's not perfect, but I'd say it's worth a shot, especially since it's only $40. If you like point-and-click + Wii controls adventure games at all you'll get your money's worth out of it.

Oh, and the first half hour or so is not representative of the game. There's an awful lot of talking and setting up a backstory that doesn't really matter once you start actually playing.

Nobody's mentioning the Umbrella Cronicles? Don't even bother with the zapper just play it with the wiimote but it's great! Single handedly saved this machine from eBay.

I saw that at a LAN this weekend and it looked better than I expected. I had heard kind of mixed reviews of it so far.
