Whether or not Crysis will look better than its console counterpart (if there will be any) is currently hard to tell. Most people's PC won't be able to run it better than the consoles graphically IMO. Potential wise, the nod goes to the PC. If you can afford the system requirements to run it all on HIGH/ VERY HIGH with acceptable framerates. :P

The amount of ignorance in this thread is astounding.
To make a very, very long story short, PC engines are extremely generic and extremely inefficient compared to their console counterparts. When you know exactly what hardware you're working with you can craft a much finer-tuned engine, and with Crytek's technical prowess you shouldn't be surprised to see the game running at what would be relatively high settings on the PC.
