The size limit for XBL games, not demos, not xbox games, was raised in 2007 from 50megs to 150megs. This limit is so that those without a HD can still download XBL games onto memory cards (should they desire). MS also has in place a process for game developers to apply to exceed the 150meg cap should they need to (symphony of nights did this).

Ok... Thats for the history lesson (think the original size limit increase was covered on the forum in the past anyway).
