Its not entirely free, you will paying for weapons later down the track with your credit card in the form of microtransactions

only if you choose to do so. And its not necessarily weapons you pay for but stuff like hats, shirts, boots, 2x experience for the weekend, etc.

well, the free part has me sort of worried. remember americas army game and how that was free. well it attracted all sorts of hackers and cheaters and if they banned you, you just set up another account and was back into the game in no time.

Actually the article says you can unlock items with valor points...I'm sure they can be bought as well

looks pretty fun, but where is the characterisation via voice. That was really a big key in TF2 I think "Get behind me doctor" you don't have that final touch, I think you lose a lot of what makes it fun. It just seems devoid of character.
