Yes it sure is, but you will get used to it. Shasta and Whiskeytown lakes are great get aways, and Mt. Shasta is darn close. We do most of our big shopping in redding as our town lacks a mall/costco.

I sure do! Legend and Anniversary are still among my favorites and I still play both because they are such enjoyable games for me to play (the ones before those two I could care less because of the controls).

If this new one keeps in sync with the atmosphere and game play of the previous two, I'm all in, bring it on! I'll open my wallet in a hurry.

Well, Trinity Lake is almost a second home for me. Not too fond of Shasta lake as it tends to be more "populated" and congested. I absolutely love Whiskey Town Lake though. I'm sure I'll be quite happy around there. Furthermore, the in-land waterfowl around there wont taste nearly as "gamey" as it does here on the coast. Sounds like a win-win if you ask me.
