Default Core2Duo 6550

I got one of these dirt cheap yesterday for the wife.

With a Gigabyte MB with 965 chipset that supports quad.

For 150 for both i thought it was a good deal.

Has 3 pci 2 pci-ex 1 pci-ex16 6 sata.

Good HTPC board i know that but would it be faster than an AMD 6000 X2?
