Who knows...

Exactly and whoever just sits there watching the game install the first time for 20 minutes really needs to get a life.

20 minutes is enough time to cook breakfast, take a dump (longer for some of you), take a shower or whatever and come back to your PS3 when its all done.

Yeah... I started the install then turned back to my satellite to watch some TV until it was done.

Personally I checked a forum or two, then turned around and it was complete. It's not like I'm not used to installing games for heaven's sake... why this issue gets so much attention I have no idea.

I was aware of the install time before I bought it so before I had a chance to play it, I just started the install. Had some tea and a Jacket Potato

I didn't waste 20 minutes of my life monitoring a bar slowly ascend, unluck some numb nuts.

Installing games has been a "PC Only" thing for... for... forever I'm pretty sure.

That's why its getting attention.

Back on track, this is my first DMC game and I am impressed. I am playing on Human. The game has plenty of style, the battles are so easy(thank you, thank you), the cutscenes are beautiful and well directed, a very movie like feel to the whole game.

Apparently there's 6 difficulty levels, I'm running thru Devil Hunter in hopes of unlocking at least one more difficulty level if not two. We'll see. Overall Devil Hunter is very easy as well in comparison to DMC3.

Do yourself a favor and pick up DMC3... the cutscenes in that one blow this one out of the water... the action is so insane it is amazing.

C&VG are one of the oldest video games magazines/sites in existence. I think they started publication in the UK in the early 1980s. They are consistently one of the best sellers here too.
