When I was a tank I used to help all warriors regardless of their faction. I know how tough it is to solo level a warrior up. It was like a brotherhood with warriors back in the day. Now that is gone with so many people having multiple classes.

I had heard leveling a Holy Priest was harder (doing that ATM) and its not. Leveling my warrior was infuriating. It makes up for it with how stupidly OP they are at 70. Intercept, MS, Execute, GG.

Another thing about druid besides its combat capabilities is a little role play element that goes along with it. I don't role play myself, but its cool when you think about it. Druids have their own faction neutral territory (moonglade,) the whole shapeshifting thing is awesome, and the class itself plays a heavy role in the game lore. When I play the game I feel as though druids are almost their own third quasi faction.

Guess he didnt share your sense of oneness

Theres this other thing too. When I hit 40 I had nowhere near enough of the 100g to buy a mount, but I openly stated I wasn't going to buy one anyways because I was happy with the speed provided by travel form and I would wait til 60 to buy epic mount.

But somebody in my guild just out of nowhere sent me 100g in the mail. I didn't even ask for it at all. He said his main is a druid which is why he did so. Nobody else was given the same reward, and I am basically the only druid in the guild. We have two others but they are like ~20ish and don't come online much.

I've paid it forward in similar ways though not to that much of an extent. I've had a level 10 druid unknown to me ask me for a gold, and I just gave it to him just because he was a druid. Anybody else I would have said hell no.

Also prior to the lunar festival thing, I never saw anybody die in moonglade (during the festival its a big boneyard though.) My very first trip there on a pvp server, a skull druid just waved to me.

You don't level a holy priest. You level a shadow priest.

Perhaps, when the Shadow Tree is viable, right now I have less downtime as holy and its much easier to get into a group.

Nah this was months ago, way before lunar.

I have guild members gold before, when needed, but it has nothing to do with them being a certain class..its because they are my guildies.
I would never give someone that I didnt know 10G...infact I hate gold beggars.

Ill help anyone out on quests if needed but giving out gold to randoms is where I draw the line.
I have worked at my professions and earned my money.
I have just forked out 1000G for my flying mount and I worked my arse off for it.
Its my gold and noone else is getting thier hands on it

Druid don't pay for flying mount, nor the training, flight form is free

Yeh I know....that owl thing.
But....dioes that mean that you cant get an epic flying until you have paid for your flying mount training?

Epic mounts are awesome
Rather expensive...but awesome.

Nah, for flying mounts you need riding skill 225. When druids get flight form, they are given riding skill 225 for free. So that means you don't have to pay for neither the mount nor the training. When it comes time to get swift flight form, you do have to pay for riding skill 300, which does cost something like 5000g. However you don't have to buy the mount, which is something like 200g.

All in all you save something like 1300g on mount costs just for being a druid.

and before one of the patches, had to be revered with lower city to run heroic Sethekk halls. Now you just need honored, but the sethekk can still be a pain depending on gear level. I have done the whole swift flight form chain twice, and it is a bit of a pain with all the running around you have to do, but WELL worth it.

Oh you guys actually group with others and run instances when leveling? I haven't done that since my first toon. We solo when leveling until we get to the group quests. Then we power level those. Then we are back at it. With the reduced xp per level and increased xp per quest, leveling is simple. It also helps if you follow Joanah'a guide or what ever her name is. That cuts the time from 0-60 down to 3 days game played.

Once you get to 70 then you go holy or stay shadow for PVP.
