Need a DSL modem

I've got Qwest DSL, really like them. But the 2wire modem they gave me has serious issues with my Laptops wireless. Works just fine otherwise. Anyone want to recommend a good brand/model?

why not just turn off the wireless option in the router and then go out and get another wireless router and hook it up to the 2wire?
