Default Wow! No reviews

I got one of those xfi pci-ex soundcards laying around to use but i want to know more about it since its a very plain looking card.

Their is no reviews at all for this card which means i think it was a low priority product to review.

I searched Google for the pci-ex version of the xfi and only for sale info no reviews at all.

That's the only one I have seen and it doesn't use the same audio processor as the X-Fi platinum, fatality or elite pro.

If you do reviews, then you'd earn monies. Is that right?

If so. DO IT.

I got some vague memory about it being as gimped as the XtremeAudio version (if that is the name of the gimped model they offer)
EDIT:
Quote:
It's not hard to see why Creative isn't hyping up the product. TOSLINK optical input and output ports are the PCIe model's only apparent advantage over its PCI counterpart, and they seem to have been added to the PCIe part at the expense of lower analog sound quality. Compared to the PCI X-Fi Xtreme Audio, the PCIe X-Fi Xtreme Audio otherwise has the same 24-bit/96KHz sample rate for playback and recording but a lower signal to noise ratio (104dB instead of over 108dB), greater harmonic distortion (0.007% instead of 0.006%), and a higher official price tag ($69.99 instead of $59.99).

looks like a POS... hope you didn't pay too much for it. I'd stick to a good quality PCI soundcard.
