Seriously....stick with the druid, they are pretty damn awesome.
I know the Tauren starting area sux....and so do the barrens but the ghostlands are very cool, as is the suplcher and also Brill (undead starting area) the only problem being that every time you need to do training...your going to need to make your way back to Thunderbluff, which is a pain in the bum!

Im finding it hard to lvl my druid (shes only 15) because I fond everything so damn slow without a mount!

Druids feel so weak in the beginning... I mean hunters just dominate the entire time through.

I have a Troll hunter and I dont particularily feel that way about her, but Im really not a fan of hunters to be honest.
I did find my druid felt quite weak until I got bear form.
Things are much easier now.
I just find the first 40 lvls such a grind in general, I have dont it a few times now and its just so dull!!
I dont mind the levelling once you get a mount

I just kill alot quicker with my Hunter then my Druid it seems. I mean with my other Hunter I didn't die untill I hit 20 or so.

Yeh I undersdtand what you mean...well, with a hunter you are literally 2 opponents as such, you and your pet.
Druids just a different playing style, but even if they start out weak, they make up for it in later levels for sure

The thing is just getting to those later levels...

I have changed my mind on many things as I have gone along and figured out what druids can and can't do. But, I think this is the final direction I will be pushing mine in for PVP spec:

Nature's grasp is extremely important for BG and world PVP. It traps hunters pets and it traps rogues with very little action on your part. You can cast it from bear and cat without going to caster. It costs no energy, no rage, no mana. Only one talent point, it's so worth it. I can't tell you how many times I've royally screwed up a rogues battle plan with that. Hell it even helps with those times when you are just passing through an area and you have some mob on your butt and he won't go away. There is very little reason not to have it IMO.

Also I think heard somebody on this forum (don't remember who) say that shredding attacks and bleeds aren't very useful for solo pvp. Boy is that ever wrong. Most of the time I start a battle with a pounce, get behind and shred (double the damage of claw for only a little more energy) followed by rake, FFF, claw, (sometimes another rake,) then rip. After that I often back off and moonfire, then rejuvenate. That leaves them with 5 dots ticking their health away, while I can either gain some distance to end combat and re-stealth for another pounce, or shift to bear then charge and bash.

That looks like a good spec Alpha, Nature's Grasp is valuable for PvP. The problem with it is that it can be trinketed out of. You are still low level and most likely aren't fighting against anyone that has a trinket.

I have a trinket. Makes battles against hunters a cakewalk. But thats good, if they trinket out of that, I have plenty of other stuff to hit them with that they can't trinket out of for some time. Fortunately with my build, I don't depend very heavily on roots and stuns. They just allow me to quickly regain control over the battle, a second or two is all I really need most of the time.

You should have seen every one of my last few battles with huntards. Total slaughter I don't even really need to heal and I come out of the battle with more than 75% of my health.
