Default WoW: The Juggernaut

It will take some incredible gaming revolution to even phase this market share.

Well if Blizzard doesn't continue to release new content it will die fast. I know many people who rarely play right now because theres nothing for them to do...

Sure there is.
  1. They can do daily quests that Blizzard is raising the cap from 10 to 25 per day on.
  2. Go PvP if they mainly PvE or vice-versa.
  3. Farm mats for raid consumables.
  4. Roll an alt.

If they are bored beyond that or already have more than 3-4 level 70 toons (I do have 4, but have been playing since Dec 04), then they need to step away from the PC for a while.

that last bit there is the funny part. There is someone in my guild that I am good friends with that has 6 70's and 5 of them are t5 ready. She is also a stay at home mom so...

I'd kill my wife if she spent that much time away from my children. I don't have kids yet, but still.

Possibly, I snatched it from mmogchart.com

Lineage: The Blood Pledge (Accuracy Rating: A)
Since its release in September 1998, Lineage was been a gaming phenomenon in South Korea for years, and has since been exported to other markets with somewhat lesser success. Some press reports will say Lineage has over 4 million “subscribers”. Lineage actually has a variety of different pricing schemes, and many players access the game via Internet cybercafes rather than a more traditional monthly subscription. The numbers I have chosen to use are the “monthly access” numbers, which I feel are the most directly comparable to other monthly subscription MMOGs. After peaking at over 3 million unique monthly users in 2003, the game has waned noticeably, first due to competition from its successor, Lineage II, and then with the arrival of World of Warcraft. As of December 2007, Lineage had 1,056,177 unique monthly access subcribers, with only 6,414 subscribers in the United States. http://www.lineage.com/

Lineage II: The Chaotic Chronicle (Accuracy Rating: A)
The sequel to the highly successful Lineage, Lineage II launched first in South Korea on October 1, 2003 and then the United States on April 28, 2004. After reaching a peak of over 2.1 million monthly access subscribers worldwide in March 2005, the game has fallen sharply since the arrival of World of Warcraft. As of December 2007, Lineage II had 1,006,556 unique monthly access subscribers worldwide, with 79,986 of those in the US and Europe combined. http://www.lineage2.com/

Its all about being inventive..theres heaps of things to do once you hit 70 (and no...ganking lvl 30's in STV is NOT a viable option!!! )

Im starting on my second to 70...and I have to say, I think that will be the last one for me.
The grind through levels 1-40 is bloody awful.
So slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
