That was an option, but they can just say it was due to user error and not get a full refund.
I don't trust them after all the lies.

And there's nothing to refund, it was financed.

I didn't want to build one and stopped due to health issues which were made worse by all this crap they tried to get away with.

I see, well good luck and take you're time rebuilding it. Don't rush and make you're health bad over it. It's a computer not anything that's going to really do anything for you.

Thanks man.
I wanted to post the pics in order in a new thread when I'm done, but that will take a little while.
So here's where I just left off.

Just a little teaser, the finished build thread will just be that, about the build and none of that other crap. )

Yes, but that intel based motherboard doesn't support SLI. This will be interesting to see how it all unfolds.....

Sure it does, it even supports Tri SLi and it's 2.0 PCI-E.

NVIDIA nForce 780i SLI
PCI Express 2.0 x16

My bad, the motherboard looked like an Intel X38 chipset like the Asus Maximus Formula Series.

Hehe, I'm stuck on the Sli bit, but this thing about using 3 cards is stupid because it only supports 2 cards at PCI-E 2.0 x16 (backwards compatible with PCI-E 1.1 x16) slowing the other cards down from what I've read.

I wouldn't buy a third card anyway, didn't get the board for that, just comes with it.

One of the Asus heatpipe fans was wired in a way where it came between the heatfins and the fan casing causing it not to sit flat and wouldn't lock, so I had to take the fan apart, remove the 3 pin plug and re-route the wire.

The first fan took like 20 seconds and locked right in.
I was planning on having the cpu and waterblock on by now and at least one of the Ultras in.
I just want to get it done, I take a long time as it is because I have to have things neat and done right.

It's gunna take me long enough just to remove the 30 pounds of bubble wrap I have the cards in. LOL!

Found a big washer and 2 screws where the PSU is and a floppy cable with a molex connector up in there.
Any power plugs I don't use get a cap just to make sure it can't hit some metal or whatever and may spike.

They didn't have any caps and were between the PSU and metal from the case.
May have caused some problems, who knows, but that big washer and the screws must be part of that "performance enhancement tuning package" they say is done to every Bird.

The more mistakes I find makes me think I may have the "Stevie Wonder Edition" Or the "Dedication to Crackheads Series"

Or the "Chris is an Asswipe Edition" LMAO!

The tech who built this should be cleaning Toilets at Burger World for crying out loud!
Wonder what else I might find...
Car keys? Maybe some magnets or even a Rock if I'm lucky enough!

Or maybe, just maybe, I'll find Ryan's "Hooked on Phonics" tapes that he lost!

My HP blackbird came with the Asus Striker Extreme 680i series chipset. And yes, having 3 cards is stupid unless it's you're life setting all day in front of a computer doing nothing! No on out there cares what we have but us...lol!
I love this line...

Hehe!

Yeah, mine came with the Asus Striker Extreme 680i also.
It was the Dedication Series which were not allowed to be configured or changed.
Not that there was another motherboard to choose from at the time anyway.

My CPU and water block is installed, very tedious working with those water lines attached.

The rest should be easier...

Ultras go in next and that's the end of dealing with the water cooling parts.

DO NOT FLASH A BLACKBIRD WITH AN ASUS BIOS!!
This guy was supposed to be warned about telling people to do this.
HE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A BLACKBIRD!
And yet, they let him post away.

http://www.voodoopc.com/boards/messa...=1036&Status=0

BTW, the stupid SLi/CF mod is FUBAR and is the main reason of many if not all the problems.

I can see the class action suit's coming.
Lies, false advertising, the list goes on...

Support? Google.com, that's your support.

Dell has nothing to worry about, nor does E-Machines (refurbished even)

Yes, I saw his stupid ass post. I really am starting to avoid going on to that forum anymore because it just sucks ass when you compare to how great the NVNEWS Forum is. They don't even have the interface like ours. Anyway, I think I'm done because I just don't see alot of talented computer gurus on there like you do on here.
