Why does everyone want Serenity? I have seen it on HDDVD and it has to have been one of the worst movies ever. It was just cheesey as hell.

Err, wasn't it the consumers who chose the winner? I mean tehy did buy far more Blu-Ray movies then HD-DVDs that made companies go exclusive to aim for more sales, rather then loses?

In the beginning they had a choice... both formats had good backing... and hell HD-DVD had better quality yet the studios backing it is what caused it to fail. They didn't release enough titles aswell as enough good titles.

They gave the consumers a choice in the pricing aswell, the consumer went with the more expensive one because it provide them more titles, and hardware manufacturers.
