No, I've seen them, also those and more were released in full resolution recently. I guess you're one of those people that think graphics should always be dirty.

The lighting effects look amazing in those shots, shadows are OK, but the character models and textures are some of the best I've seen. Even Crysis (besides the cutscene models) doesn't have enemy models that good.

No I'm one of those people who thinks that textures should include more detail than a flat drab gray surface which those screen shots are riddle with. I didn't say anything bad about the lighting. It's the poor detail in textures and models.

the korean soliders in crysis destroy those marines in the screen shots in both detail, realism and texture quality.

It's not an arguable point. those marine models in those screen shots look too cartoony.

You're just blind. First off the Korean models in Crysis are absolute ****. The textures aren't bad at all, in fact I don't even think they're possible on anything less than a 512MB video card (if even that), and I think they'll be downgraded.

I still stand by the fact that I think the walls in particular have the most bland and unexceptional textures. They look like they used doom3/FEAR textures.

That's fine, I've tried to show you nicer quality pics. Personally I think this is one of the better looking games if the game actually turns out to look like this. Doom 3 had some really low res textures, and FEAR just had so little variety they didn't have to have a lot of textures.

Which is exactly what I see here. The guns, the walls, the desks, etc. BLAH! the face hugger isn't too bad although I'd prefer it if the underside weren't a totally flat texture and the alien isn't too bad up close but again, it looks like the mouth (from that screen shot) is just one flat surface...there's no depth to it at all. I think it would be much more realistic if they actually put more detail into the alien's face as far as the mouth, teeth, second extendable jaw, etc...

I got all excited and re-installed AVP2 on my work laptop.

Possibly a mistake, voice acting and graphics are horrible in that game. Still a cool game though.

As long as the new one looks better than this:

I'm pretty happy

Hope they resurrect the multiplayer survival mode from AvP.

They don't even need a single player campaign for me, just a randomly generated facility with a choice of entrances and only one exit. The mission: survive!

It would kill counter strike if they got it right.

A wall is a wall, you cant add flashy textures just to make it standout.

I'm with fast on one thing. I better see a cool looking tiny little mouth pop out of the big scary mouth, or I'll be somehow disapointed. I do think the screens are pretty awesome already though.
