Room temp is 20c. Case has awesome air flow. Temps = correct. I moved it back to 425x8 it failed Prime after 2 hours. Anyone wanting to push a 45nm quad do not get the P5E it blows chunks till they get a good bios. I wish now I got the 8400.

How high was your FSBT voltage ?

I'll try to OC mine properly when i get the new gfx card. Atm, higher clock doesn't help me to raise my frame rates. But this CPU is a monster at SSE !

Atm, i'm using the auto settings of the mobo, except for some tweaks that i did set manually.

I changed tRD to 6, and the FSB to 400, plus i did set the proper timings for my RAM to run it at 1:1 with CAS3. This lowered the latency of the system & raised the memory bandwidth.

The mobo did set VCore to 1.25V, FSBT to 1.3V & NB to 1.6V.

Luckily, i installed an extra fan on the chipset, and it's running quite cool during heavy load cycles at 45ºC.

Everything works so good, so fast & so stable, that i do not want to experiment more, until i get the new gfx card.

You may have to increase the NB and VTT voltage further to get higher FSB.

I have raised my FSB to 450MHz, and i have set the FSBT to 1.38V (i try to keep it as low as possible).

The system has been running rock solid during my gaming session last weekend. It also passed several OC tests like OOCT, Prime, ... and my custom benchmarks.

The Rampage is an awesome mobo, and these OCZ Reaper modules are incredible overclockers !

There is one funny fact too: CAS4 @ 900MHz NO POST, but CAS3 @ 900MHz POST OK. I refuse to try to understand this

Thats a nice 1GHz overclock there. Too bad my nForce board does not allow me to change the VTT voltage.

walterman, nice OC dude. I would lower the NBv to 1.55 and see what that does to stability and NB temps.

EDIT I saw where had the FSB 1.28v in the screen.

NB @ 400mhz 1.39v

Probably leave it here for everyday use.

@mullet - Thanks for all your help.

Grey kickass dude. Did it orthos out good? The NB seems right, I would leave the FSB @ Auto. I knew you could do it.
BTW go to core temp folder/settings and at the top put this in.

[Core Temp settings]
TjMaxOffset=-10;

LOL! I was wondering about that! Thanks mullet.

I'll find out on the Orthos when I get home today. Game stable so far..crossing fingers on the Orthos. I wouldn't be surprised if I need to bump the vcore just a touch as everything I've seen suggests 1.24 or more for 600mhz overclock or above.
