Consoles with Nvidia Gpus
Hmm...probably the next gen consoles with nvidia in them...wonder how Physx will work for them?

The next consoles are for 2010 - MS and Nintendo, MS sure . And Intel is a possible candidate for the GPU ...

I'm already excited for next-gen consoles in 2010 or so. I'm more interested in next Wii, if Nintendo will go for HD gaming.
Nintendo is making mega money off Wii so they better be.

The question is weather or not the consoles will be able to take advantage of having a physics thing going on..provided it is nvidia..
But if its in 2010...wow..guess its a long wait... |

Yeah, not to mention the PS3 is made to last for at LEAST 5 years, and PS2 is still getting new games and its been out since 2000....., 2010 they might announce new consoles, but we definetly wont be seeing them in shops in 2010

If next-gen consoles don't have some kind of multi-GPU setup, physics will be done by the CPU. That's because the load on the GPU is much more likely to be at 100% by graphics alone, whereas the multicore CPU's prolly have spare time to do physics. Both the 360 and PS3 have a lot of CPU power even today.
