Still get the same crash to desktop with my Vista install. I haven't tried to patch the working XP install.

Lol, i see 87, COD4 has over 10000!

Shame as i had high hopes for this game but fubar release & rubbish support, delayed patches & piss poor content in said patches has left me with little hope for a game that could have been great.

Oh well, move along now, nothing to see here, next please.

The game suffers from the same performance issue just as Gears of War. In the middle of fight it slows down like crazy.

Either the problem is with Vista or UT3 engine. What a crap....

I think the UT3 engine has not lived up to it's hype.

Epic was too worried to make a cross platform engine that all platforms suffer from the lack of attention.

Devs/Publishers seen the $$ by an engine that is "cross platform" and look at the results.

UE3 is great for consoles, which is mainly what it was developed for.

I'm planning on getting a job at a studio once I get a few of these total conversion mods done (working on a few mod teams you may have heard of ) and I'd probably want to work with UE3 more than any other engine, except for Id Tech 5 or Killzone 2's engine (if it has nice tools like UE3).

I still like this game, I'm up to the last chapter of singleplayer and have played some online matches and enjoyed myself. It's not the next best thing by any means, but for people like me who want a new game to play on a somewhat routine basis you could do a LOT worse than Frontlines.
