My main problem with it is that it gets a bit repetitive and the difficulty curve is all over the place. You can lose time after time on one mission (on one boss I lost 30 times in a row) due to the incredible difficulties the designers chose to implement and then breeze through the next one without losing once, like strolling the park... There's also a lack of enough checkpoints on some points. Certain sequences require you to do something really hard 10 times in a row (each time takes 2-3 minutes) and you have to start from the beginning if something goes wrong. I nearly threw the controller at the screen... My hands actually hurt after each session, I had pain in my joints and felt tired from all the button pushing...

I'd rate it as a 7. It's interesting, it's fun. It can become boring and the main story missions become very annoying from time to time. So annoying that it ruined the game for me...

There, trying not to reveal any spoilers...
Ok, thanks for that. Does the game not have a Difficulty level setting?

I'll get it when I beat Prototype... and maybe after Red Faction 3, depending on reviews.

It does. But, the thing is you can't change it in-game. So when you get to the difficult parts, 5-10 hours in, you must start over if you want to lower the difficulty. And playing on easy will make the already easy game parts very, very boring...

Not everything can be Crysis but for a console port this game looks decent to me.

framerates stay around 20FPS no matter what resolution or setting i put the game on. I even read someone else having the same problem with a high end card.

It looks better than I expected.

Got 7.5 on IGN though, but reviewers I don't trust (especially not IGN after their ad write up of Empire Total War "review")
